CENA stands for Climate, Environment and Noise Protection in Aviation.
In the region of Hessen the Frankfurt airport hub plays a special and central role. Hessen’s state government founded CENA to secure the future of sustainable aviation with innovative ideas.
Founded in 2020, CENA connects the interested parties and helps to realize innovative projects in sustainable aviation. We work on topics such as CO2-neutral flying, alternative fuels (Sustainable Aviation Fuels, SAF), Power-to-Liquid (PtL), as well as technologies for noise and environment protection in aviation.
